The Kumihimo Dress. Inspired by the ancient Japanese tradition of tying silk braids around the obi of a kimono, this dress has straps made from exquisite 100% silk Kumihimo cord. Looped around delicate 24k gold vermeil hoops at the shoulder, the criss-cross straps hold the soft cowl neckline in place. Cut on the bias from beautifully soft eco-friendly satin with a subtle sheen, it’s pure comfort and joy to wear. All Rolling In Roses pieces are available in any size. Kumihimo literally means ‘gathered threads’ in Japanese.

Outer: super soft LENZING™ ECOVERO™ satin derived from certified renewable wood sources, using an eco-responsible production process which meets high environmental standards to protect forests and water.
Lining: organic bamboo charmeuse organically and ethically produced using a closed-loop system; all solvents and water used are then cleaned and re-used. An Oeko-Tex certified, natural fibre, biodegradable and breathable.
