This beauty has a light stretch to the fabric and waistband, which means it is the most comfortable of skirts you could possibly hope to wear. The silk is organic British-made peace silk, which is lined with sustainable organic bamboo charmeuse.

FABRICS:

Heavyweight organic peace silk satin: this chemical-free British-produced silk has the lowest possible carbon footprint; even the Mulberry leaves which are the silkworms’ only food are grown right here in England. The organic production protects the soil and surrounding eco-system and the Peace Silk certification means the silk worms are unharmed and able to live out their natural life cycle.

Bamboo lining: organically and ethically produced using a closed-loop system; all chemicals and water used are then cleaned and re-used. An Oeko-Tex certified, natural fibre, biodegradable and breathable.

Interior elastic waistband: organic cotton and natural biodegradable rubber.

Sewn with organic cotton thread.
