The Kawaii Dress. A contemporary bridal take on the classic 90s slip dress. Cut on the bias from lustrous heavyweight βNaiaβ satin, with a petite cluster of gathers at the derriere, and delicate crossover spaghetti straps. An ethical, vegan alternative to silk, this sublime material is made from fibres taken from pine and eucalyptus forests which are sustainably managed to ensure no deforestation of ancient and endangered woodland. The neckline edge is trimmed with beautiful Nottingham lace, and the front skirt is split to the mid-thigh. The 100% cotton lace is made the traditional way on century-old Leavers lace machines by a ninth-generation family of lace makers and matches the trim on our two-tier Kawaii Veil. All Rolling In Roses pieces are available in any size. βKawaiiβ means βprettyβ or βcuteβ in Japanese.
