The Nejire Dress. Ingeniously cut from luxury matt Italian crêpe, this dress is chic, contemporary, and sculptural. Inspired by the innovative work of fashion cutter Tomoko Nakamichi, the bodice and sleeves are crafted from a single piece of fabric, expertly manipulated and twisted to create soft drapes and folds. Cut wide at the neckline to display the décolletage, it fastens with a single button of Japanese mother-of-pearl at the nape of the neck. The fitted skirt has flattering diagonal darts at the back, a split to mid-thigh at the front, and an understated puddle train. All Rolling In Roses pieces are available in any size. ‘Nejire’ is Japanese for ‘twist’.
