The Daisuki Dress. Tailored with the utmost care and precision from luminous ‘Naia’ satin, the Daisuki Dress has subtle and intriguing details. Delicate corded straps wrap around one another to create a crossover back, whose angles are echoed in the placement of the seams and darts of the dress itself. Each adjacent panel of fabric is cut from a contrasting grain, which catch the light and reveal their structure. An ethical, vegan alternative to silk, this sublime material is made from fibres taken from pine and eucalyptus forests which are sustainably managed to ensure no deforestation of ancient and endangered woodland. Highly flattering and supremely comfortable, this gown is an understated beauty and teams perfectly with our chiffon Kimono Robe. Daisuki is Japanese for ‘I like you very much.’
Fabrics:
Outer: ‘Naia’ satin, a natural cellulosic fibre produced using pine and eucalyptus trees, in a safe, closed-loop process where solvents are recycled back into the system for reuse. Naia is Oeko-Tex certified and is made without hazardous chemicals, has an optimized, low-impact manufacturing process with a low tree-to-fibre carbon and water footprint, and is classed as biodegradable and compostable.
Lining: organic bamboo charmeuse organically and ethically produced using a closed-loop system; all solvents and water used are then cleaned and re-used. An Oeko-Tex certified, natural fibre, biodegradable and breathable.
Sewn with organic cotton thread.
